ssinpv Posted October 31, 2007 Report Share Posted October 31, 2007 I set my download and upload limits at half of my bandwith and I still have to crawl at a turtle speed while surfing if I am running utorrent. Even at fairly low torrent download speeds of 50-60 kB/s and using only 8% of my processor and half of my memory I can not get to any other sites with my browser if I am running utorrent. If I exit utorrent my connection to other sites smokes. running xp , no router It's as if utorrent uses all my bandwith even at low download and upload speeds.Any suggestion ?thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Even setting my utorrent upload speed at one fourth or half of my tested upload speed slows me down when trying to surf other sites while utorrent is running. UTORRENT WORKS GREAT.I am happy with my download and upload speeds for utorrent. I just can't get any download speed for surfing other sites while running utorrent. Deadman72901 Posted October 31, 2007 Report Share Posted October 31, 2007 I am having this same problem using utorrent 1.7.5 it just about kills my connection for anything other than it, I have a cable modem and with utorrent running (even if only one torrent is downloading at 2.0 kbs) it takes several minutes for a sites to load.
