All My Downloads Gone...

Hi All,

I am very new to utorrent and the whole torrent dowloading thing in general.

Been using the program now for about 2 months with no problems. I left the program running through the night and when I awoke this morning some files were still downloading. None of the torrents I started downloading finished so they were still downloading.

I went to check the folder where my saved torrents go and the whole folder has disappeared totally.

I checked the completed files in utorrent and they are still there with big fat red remove X's. Error: file missing from job. Please Recheck.

When I hit 'Recheck' it sends the file back into the download list. I hit recheck again and it just says 'Stopped'.

The only way I seem to be able to get these to work is to download them all again. Surely there is some other way?

It's seems like the downloads are still chocking my hard drive but can't find them anywhere??

Any help would be most appreciated.

It might sound obvious but have you tried searching for all your dl'd torrents using a wild card?

ie use the windows search assistant, in the box that asks for all or part of the file name type *.torrent

search your dwnld folder 1st, and then expand you search untill you either find them or your searching your entire drive.
