roseypeach
Hi there,I am downloading a torrent (recommended for testing for speed problems), and have had several Failed Hash Checks. It is still downloading though. Does this have something to do with my settings or is it strictly behavior from the peers or my ISP? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out, Rose
Switeck
ComCast as far as I know doesn't cause failed hash checks...yet.You're probably on a fake or poisoned torrent with hostile ips on it that need to be blocked with µTorrent's ipfilter.dat text file.I personally block the whole 38.x block like this:38.0.0.0-39.0.0.0Remember to include an ENTER after the last line or it may be ignored!
