yaacovg
Ok, forget my last message. Now the torrents are coming in very slowly and the icon at the bottom of the screen indicates I need to open a port so other can connect to me. How do I do this? Coren
Are you able to log into your router and change settings? check www.portforward.com to find out more specific details if you're not sure what I mean. What you need to do is set up port forwarding within your router for the port uTorrent has set traffic to (check the speed guide to get this) and make sure it routs the traffic to your specific machine on the network (on xp, go to start, run, type cmd, hit enter, then type ipconfig to get your machine's ip).Did all that make sense? mugman5378
I'm not sure what all was written on the first part of this message by YAACOVG, but my problem is at least similar:"no connection could be made because target machine actively refused it." with the DHT status: Not allowed. Is this close to the original problem? If so, what do I do with it? What did I do to cause the problem? I have even tried different torrents of the same movie with the same results, and different movies entirely; again, same results. HELP! This is all in the Tracker heading. DreadWingKnight
No your problem isn't even close to similar mugman. Your issue is completely different.
