Joemama
My light is green, net.max_halfopen is set to 2, running on Windows XP with Symantec Antivirus, Spybot, and a hardware firewall in my Linksys WRTP54G for testing. I have AvRadioNet as my ISP, and am running a 20Mb connection...My Utorrent speeds never go above 12KB, and on the same torrent at 40% complete, I was just downloading at 125KB+ and uploading at 150KB+ just 1 week ago!!! I have tried other torrents, even BRAND NEW TORRENTS will not exceed this speed... Also, could you tell me why I have a 20Mb connection, or at least that what my ISP says, and I only test at an avg. of 1915 Kb down and 1478 kb up.......Thanks... Joemama
... Thanks, but I already tried all that yesterday... Actually, it boosted my speed from next to nothing (literally) to 25kB/s when it spikes and an average of 5kB/s down... This still is NOTHING near what I used to have, and I fail to see how utorrent goes OVERNIGHT from 150kB/s down and up when its SLOW to spiking at 25kB!!!!!... Switeck
Did you run Speed Guide (CTRL+G) and choose the xx/1mbit setting or less?Lots of connections may be too much, even if you have bandwidth to spare as well.
