xxxLesy Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 If you download a torrent with many files inside (like a tv season) by downloading files 1 by 1 (1st show first, then the 2nd and so on). Then lets say you've seen one of the downloaded files and want to free up disk space by deleting it (I set the file to "skip" in the torrent of course). But after deleting the file uTorrent notices its missing and wont continue downloading other (not yet downloaded) files. It says "Error. Files missing from job".Hope I made myself clear about the problem It would be really nice if you could fix it to also skip uploading files that are set to "skip". So basically uTorrent should completely ignore those files.Tnx for the great work.
Keloran Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 thats because the checksum will have cahnged,No matter how sophisticated the program, nothing can detect human problems
Firon Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 It's not a bug, it requires those files (because said files may share various pieces with other files you actually need). In reality, it's PEBCAK.
