kerplunkuk Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 I am using 1.7.5 and I have had no previous issues with port forwarding, or anything similar.Since using the new version I find after a small period of time all trackers go offline. Restarting utirrent enables them to all come back.I have tried unistalling and reinstalling, checking my ports are forwarded properly which they are, checking I get a green tick for connections, checked open office torrent which times out, and I am stumped. My uploads continue when the trackers go offline, and the tick remains green.I have tried uninstalling my firewall and antivirus and it makes no difference. It is AVG security by the way.The netgear DG834N is forwarded properly and there are no internet connection issues.Any suggestions? Thanks

DreadWingKnight Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 You try uninstalling zonealarm?
NeutralAngel Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 I have replicated the problem with ZoneAlarm completely shut off, yes.
DreadWingKnight Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 I didn't ask about completely shut offI asked about uninstalled.
derrick_91 Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 me too i have the same problem... yesterday my download is almost done and then the download suddenly stop till today i have the same problem... i don think is my fault coz yesterday is all going smoothly and i never touch any setting of internet and utorrent... so i think is utorrent problems... guys do u think so?
DreadWingKnight Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Nope.If it were uTorrent, 100% of people would have the problem.
Riverwild Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 ZoneAlarm now works fine with uTorrent. I was using version 7.0.337.000 and for some reason the automatic update kept telling me that this was the latest version until I found out that this was not the latest version. I have downloaded the latest version 7.0.462.000 released on Nov 20th 2007. Before using both uTorrent and ZoneAlarm, I couldn't really do much else and internet access was very slow. Now it's as if ZoneAlarm was not even running. This update has also solved a slew of other problems with system sluggishness.Check your version of ZoneAlarm to make sure you have the latest. You can check this and download the latest by going to the following page: http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/support/zasc/cfu.jsp?dc=78lts&ctry=CA〈=en&lid=db_updatesVery important: go to the bottom of the page to the "Update Now" section and select the ZoneAlarm Product you have. This will lead you to the differents versions and links for downloading them manually, hence bypassing the automatic update in ZoneAlarm.
