Firon
Your question doesn't tell us much. Slow can mean a lot of things.
1c3d0g
BitTorrent in general stresses your PC's I/O subsystem pretty heavily, and notebook hard drives are notoriously slow (usually 5400 RPM, newer ones are 7200 RPM, but I can still find notebooks with a 4200 RPM hard disk in it)...so that could be your problem. :|
Firon
If it's CPU usage problems, make sure the drive isn't set to PIO mode, that slows things down incredibly. But yeah, Ic3d0g is right, HDs tend to be pretty slow on laptops. If that is your problem and your system has a decent amount of RAM available, you can try raising the cache manually to a higher value to compensate for this. A value such as 8000 or so... allengo
I'm not mean the download speed.I mean the response speed
1c3d0g
Well, usually when you have a slower hard drive, latency tends to go up. Therefore, whenever you launch a disk-intensive application, it (temporarily) stalls the PC until all the data is processed by the hard drive. This results in a "sluggish" feeling experienced by the user...there isn't a lot you can do about this, other than to follow Firon's advice above, or if you want to go extreme, upgrade to a faster hard drive (if it's an option). :|
