(hed) Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 Ive seriously noticed that if you set your maximum upload speeds to Bytes a second (not kilobytes a second) but way way wayyyy low or give it any sort of MAXIMUM amount at all, your actual download speed decreases rapidly. But if you give it a no limit maximum your download speeds actually increase...sorry if im being stupid but ive done lots of downloads and tried this a few times and noticed it....any comments?

(hed) Posted November 23, 2007 Author Report Posted November 23, 2007 Ahh I cAz must have the same thing then
Switeck Posted November 24, 2007 Report Posted November 24, 2007 The fastest download speed you should get should occur when your upload speed is somewhere between 50% and 80% max for your connection. (50% is only likely if your upload is absolutely tiny versus your download...such as 2000 kilobits/sec down and 64 up.)
(hed) Posted November 27, 2007 Author Report Posted November 27, 2007 ThanksI just keep it on no limit seeing as it never goes above 16kbs anyway and my Cable can handle thatits all gooood
Switeck Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Download will run faster on fast torrents if you set a decent max upload limit.
