I've got Port foward problems and connexion problems... HELP

I'm using Utorrent V: 1.7.5 ( Build 4602), Operating system is Win XP SP2, I'm simply using AVG free and XP Firewall as security applications. As well I'm connected on a 7MB 2WIRE wireless home modem including firewall 2701HG-G. I've consulted most of the posts and www.portfoward.com and done all the possible settings I can think of... nada :S...

Problems :

- I often have a red Exlamation point icon on the bottom staus bar of Utorrent stating i have a problem with my port fowarding. I then click and run the Speed guide which tells me ( again !! ) that my portfoward is not working. I read the full page on configuration for 2701HG-G and I did it successfully but .. nada !

- I am currently conected but my torents are all stating in the tracker status bar : connection closed by peer ???

- As well, I ALWAYS have in the DHT status box NOT ALLOWED... why ? can this be changed ?

So basically nothing is working at all even after configurations and even deleting the settings.dat and settings.dat.old in %ApplicationData%/Utorrent !!!

So like I said ... help is needed

I've downloaded the http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/ ? link to Utorrent... al problems for that torrent dissapeared... worked great ... what is the meaning ???

Then you might have missed something, a software firewall on your system or such.

Multitude of reasons for this.

- As well, I ALWAYS have in the DHT status box NOT ALLOWED... why ? can this be changed ?

Then you ALWAYS get your torrents from private trackers and NO this cannot be changed.

Well, as for the software... I'm pretty darn sure at about 99.9% that I don't have any mystery software installed other then Win XP firewall + AVG free + 2WIRE personal wireless firewall. Which I have all configured with my port 11011 ( as stated in forum better using 10000 and up for port # ). AVG is only anti-virus ....

Where shall I start with the possibilities ? I've got to fix this it's deadfully annoying !

How many of your problems persist with torrents from http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/ ?

Basically, the #1 and #3 are not new to me and Utiorrent still functions although not at best... #2 is my BIG issue ...i mean in seeds and peers i've got all 0 (0)... and they ALL say connexion closed by peer .... thant's what i' looking to fix ... if you can be any help to me i'd be highly appreciated

the openoffice works perfect 4 seeds and approx 50Kbps speed

Well so that basically means it is the tracker, NOT me or my sys that is responsible.

Then the problem is most likely with the trackers from the torrents you're choosing if openoffice is working properly.
