badger_fruit
For some reason although connections are coming into my network (as indicated with the green check-mark at the bottom of the client), I am unable to use the port-forward test website (http://www.utorrent.com:16000/testport2.php?port=nnnnn) as it always times out. I can browse the web and do everything else so I suspect there is a problem with the particular web-page or port on utorrent.com's website.Anyone else noticed this?(and by the way, ive replaced my port number with nnnnn for security reasons hehe)

badger_fruit
nope, my hardware firewall allows this port and there are no additional security products installed to stop access .. like i said, it's not a huge problem as torrents are up & downloading, utorrent also shows a green check so incoming and outbound connections are fine, it's just strange when i click the "test" link that it times-out.I take it from your reply that you are not experiencing the same issue? DreadWingKnight
No I'm not. The test site is up.It could just be something in your setup being cranky.
badger_fruit
Hmm, possibly although what I am uncertain (and trying to find out!)As long as I know the test site is working then I can concentrate on hitting my firewall with a hammer until it conceeds and lets me run the test!!!Thanks for the replies
