ok i have vista and utorrent is just not working for me.

it dose not ask for a place to install but it does appear in the sidebar and i can run it

but for some reason it wont connect to the internet. Im not using any firewall either.

please help me!!!

Modem/router make/model? Ports forwarded properly? Any security software installed? Do OpenOffice torrents work?

i have a 2-wire modem. but i dont think thats the problem because ive used this modem before on a different cpu and the torrents worked on there.

norton came with my cpu but i dont think its runnuning

Kindly make sure it isn't running. Better still, if you can temporarily uninstall it and check, that would be great.

You still haven't answered my question re. whether you've forwarded the ports properly, or whether Openoffice torrents work or not.
