DreadWingKnight Posted November 24, 2007 Report Posted November 24, 2007 http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/Torrents from here do this?
cenp Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 i have the same exact issue... Two days ago it was working fine but now i get that error too...I also have the ports oppened....
ajones81 Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 Are you using the latest stable uTorrent version? This happens with all torrents, right?OS? 32/64-bit? And firewalls/other security software (antivirus/antispyware etc.) installed? I suppose the Speed Guide port check (Ctrl+G) tells you the ports are forwarded properly? Is your network status icon red/yellow/green?
remi_kqok Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 I have the same issue too! and using 1.7.5 - it was working fine and just suddenly nothing works! actually tried everything speed guide etc..and it seems to show up fine..just that it suddenly doesnt work for some reason. where do i see the network status?
ajones81 Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 Network status icon is present at the bottom of the uTorrent window. If you need more help, read the questions above and provide the info. Have you tried the OpenOffice torrents yet?
arbely Posted November 25, 2007 Author Report Posted November 25, 2007 mine is 32 bit , ive turned off the firewall and ive even turned off my nod 32 ,ports are ok and i dont get any signal cause it hasent started to download anything !
ajones81 Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 Turning off any security software never really works, as the system hooks remain in effect. Either try adding uTorrent to IMON's exception list, or uninstall NOD32 temporarily and check. Which version of NOD32 anyway? 2.7 or 3?
arbely Posted November 25, 2007 Author Report Posted November 25, 2007 2.7 i had it before and never gave me problem but ill try what u saidedit :well i ninstalled my nod32 but the problem remains , any more suggestions ?cause im starting to loose it ...
remi_kqok Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Hi ajones81, hmm yeah seems like the openoffice is working...so it could be the torrent then..actually been getting downloads from that site..strange that it doesnt work now.
arbely Posted November 27, 2007 Author Report Posted November 27, 2007 well i just tried it with the donkey and it tells me the same thing over there as if im not connected to the internet but i browse just fine !
cenp Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 i solved this issue... i just change the port and openned and that was it... i guess my ISP blocked the port i was using before...
