port forwarding not working

Hi,

I just purchased the UTorrent software. It kept stating that the port was not working. I went to your port forwarding page and followed everything to the letter! I have a westell versalink 327W modem (DSL Verizon). When I went back and tested the port again, it STILL stated it was not working (port 14528). What am I doing wrong? I purchased this yesterday, and I'm really beginning to think I made a BIG mistake. I have been downloading something since last night, left the comp. on all night, and it is STILL only at 20% downloaded. PLEASE HELP! I had ARies b4, and it was much easier to understand.
