Upload trouble/question

I am using utorrent 1.6.1. I am wondering why is it that I can only upload to peers the have a "U" in the flags column? Which is very few.

What does the U, I, E etc. stand for anyway? I've tried all the guides try to fix myself but nothing. I hope someone can answer this for me. Thanks in advance.

What settings are you using, as shown by Speed Guide (CTRL+G)?

(Speed Guide wants to know your max UPLOAD speed, not download! Plus, there are a lot more settings than just speed shown by that window!)

Only peers with u or U flags are even interested in what you have. u are queued to upload, U are actually being uploaded to.

Upload Slots limit decides how many peers to upload to at once per torrent. It is bad to raise that number very high, as EACH upload slot should be getting at absolute minimum at least 1 KiloBYTE/sec upload speed. Ideally, each upload slot should be getting about 3-10 KiloBYTES/sec upload speed. So if you run 3 torrents at once with 4 upload slots each, that's 12 upload slots total...which needs 36 KiloBYTES/sec total upload speed to run smoothly.
