I have seeds/leechers but no connection

Ok, so my ports are forwarded correctly, and I have a lot of seeds and leechers (one of them has 51 seeds and 73 leechers), but for some reason I'm not connected to any of them! Is there any way to fix this? I'm sick of going 0.1kb/s. I've tried to clear the peer list, but that just got rid of all my seeds and now i can't get any back. someone please help me?

It may be strangely bad torrents or your ISP is hostile towards BitTorrent traffic.
