Bangle
Hi!I'm completely technology challenged so this might seem like a dumb question but:When you download something that's - for example - 400MB in size, does this mean that it takes 400MB of information/volume to download?I have a 3GB bandwidth allowance on my computer and i'm not quite sure how much I've been using as I've downloaded 7 of these 400MB files but my online bandwith account checker says i've only used about 20MB to download them! Thanks in advance!Bangle
Switeck
Almost every torrent file out there is pre-compressed so much that it's going to take even more bandwidth/volume to download than the size of the file. So a 400 MB file may take 450 MB of bandwidth to download. And this assumes you're not uploading it any to anyone else.
