camarsha Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 I have read the FAQ about this error, and troubleshooted using all the suggestions they have and I'm still having the same problem. I've done the following:- disabled all anti-virus programs (not for a long period but long enough to see what happens)- uninstalled all google items to do with desktop ect. - I've disabled flush_files. - I do not have any explorers open, viewing the files- I have made sure the files are NOT read-only- I have also temporaryily disabled the indexing of MSN desktopIf someone can think of something else, let me know. Because I'm not quite ready to accept if the files are damaged because there's only the one to download! (I'm downloading a very unpopular file.)

camarsha Posted November 27, 2007 Author Report Posted November 27, 2007 Okay: I discovered what it was, and may this be helpful to others:If all the above doesn't work look for: - media managers - 'file watchers'I obtained Roxio Media and with it came a Media Manager that was trying to access my files which caused the torrents to hault. So perhaps this could be added to the FAQ on the website. Sorry for the waste of space, but this could be helpful to others who have gotten the 'Access Denied or Program cannot acess...' errors
