Port Issue

Hello. To start with Im using a Linksys befcmu10 modem, Netgear WPN824 router, and my ISP is Comcast. My problem is that no matter how many times I pick a random port to forward they are never open when I test it in uTorrent. There is nothing in my router setting blocking certain ports, I disabled windows firewall, tried disabling my antivirus (avg free edition), and ran adware 2007 for spyware and trojins. But still, no matter how many times I randomize ports they are never open. Even followed the www.portforward.com guide to insure i was doing everything correctly but still no go. The few times I did get a port open it only stayed open for a couple hours after I forward it. This is extremely frustrating.
