Xare Posted November 28, 2007 Report Share Posted November 28, 2007 I have a Linksys WRT54G v2.0 router. And when iam uploading torrents my browsing speed is very slow. Usually I Limit my Upload speed but if i have the torrent on for awhile it does not help. I have read that my router has a Problem with P2P Connections and that I need to upgrade my Firmware ? Ultima Posted November 29, 2007 Report Share Posted November 29, 2007 Yeah, your router used to have issues with P2P because it was tracking all connections for an extended period of time (5 days?). Upgrading the firmware (Tomato firmware or Thibor's HyperWRT are frequently recommended here) should fix the problem.If not, check the first link in my signature regarding interrupted connections.
