Port forward problems

Hi all, I'm a newbie to this site. I did a search but couldn't find anything related to my problem.

I've used utorrent for ages and never had a problem but in the last 4 weeks my port forwarding has gone haywire.

Started with suddenly the port i had open just went and closed one day. Forwarded another port and that was fine and it was open. The next time I opened utorrent this port was closed. So I forwarded and opened another one and the next time I opened utorrent it was closed!

This is happening all the time now. But then sometimes if I close utorrent and open it again after a while the port opens and sometimes I get a green tick but it still says my port is closed.

Disabled my firewall and I still have the same problem.

It's really doing my head in and if anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it. I love utorrent and would hate to have to use anything else.

I use a Dynalink RTA 1320 modem.
