Select torrents in explorer function

This function opens explorer and selects the corresponding directories to the torrents you have selected in uTorrent in Explorer.

Any reason the "Open Containing Folder..." option in a torrent's context menu is insufficient?

Yes. I want to be able to select multiple torrents within uTorrent. And have uTorrent select the corresponding files and folders in an Explorer Window (One single Explorer Window, not one window for each torrent folder). The Open Containing folder starts within the folder as opposed to one level above the folder.

The feature I'm suggesting is useful for managing and moving torrent data to the right destination after seeding. It is not always apparent what a directory contains or which tracker it was downloaded from without going inside each directory to find out.

Hmm... Currently uTorrent can open multiple Explorer windows for each selected torrent, but as you said, the view is from inside the folder, not one level above.

BTW, when you have multiple torrents selected that are being downloaded to different locations (drives), you'd need to have multiple Explorer windows, right? A single window would only be possible if all the selected downloads were in the same location.

I guess you want something like the Find Target option for shortcuts in Windows.

I can't really say that there's a huge need for this (one can very easily locate the containing folder and move files as needed), but then again, it's up to the devs to decide. So keep your fingers crossed.
