AJ2VM Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Hi! I seem to be having some problems with port forwarding on my router. I followed the instructions on portforward.com, and it should be port forwarded, but i still fail the test on utorrent. The network status is yellow (a triangle with an exclamation mark), I'm using a WGR614 v7 router, and my router isn't on the bad list. Any help is appreciated!
Ultima Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 What modem and firewall are you using? Have you set your static IP to be outside of your router's DHCP range?
AJ2VM Posted December 4, 2007 Author Report Posted December 4, 2007 I got a bit of help on the IRC but I had to leave before I could finish it. It turns out that my modem has a built in firewall, and I can't figure out out to turn it off. I did some hunting around and didn't ind a whole lot, because there should be a firewall tab on the configuration page, but there isn't. My modem is a 660 series sprint, and I know that i have no other firewall on.
