davdavon Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 In the last couple of days I've been getting red arrows on all my torrents with the report "offline (timed out)" in the Tracker Status. The thing is that I'm downloading torrents from about 5 different trackers and I know they're not all offline (actually, none of them is). I tried restarting my computer and modem but it doesn't help. Any idea what could cause this? I know my ISP does some throttling (packet shaping) but could this have anything to do with it? I never had this problem before.I'm using the latest version of uTorrent, Windows XP SP2, default Windows firewall, no router, NOD32 antivirus. Thanks!
DreadWingKnight Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Does the problem persist with torrents from http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/ ?
davdavon Posted December 5, 2007 Author Report Posted December 5, 2007 Okay, this is strange... with OpenOffice it tells me "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it."
jewelisheaven Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Is this in a popup or in the tracker status
elle Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 I'm having the same problem and hoping for a solution.
