Kendo1966 Posted December 6, 2007 Report Share Posted December 6, 2007 Whenever i exit from UT 1.7.5. it stays in memory (i have to use task manager to exit), then when it is restarted it does a file check on each torrent - this is a pain as one of the torrents is nearly 50gigs in size!Whats happening? godo52 Posted December 10, 2007 Report Share Posted December 10, 2007 I am having the same problem....most times ( I do follow the correct procedure for closing UT175 down) it works but occasionally it does a file check when I restart...But every time I reboot it does a complete file check.....This was not the case in versions prior to UT175...Any solution?The other issue is that after closing down UT175 correctly it is often still running and I cannot restart it...This forces me to close it with the task manager which prompts a complete file check again>>>> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jewelisheaven Posted December 10, 2007 Report Share Posted December 10, 2007 When you force kill a process don't get angry it wants to verify the actively open files when you killed it.The option bt.graceful_shutdown = TRUE under Ctrl-P Advanced allows uT to stay open AS LONG AS IS NEEDED to finish up active tasks,tracker requests, file dump.Again, force killing the utorrent process does not help your situation.
