How do i move my torrents

Hello, does anyone know how to move my torrents from my old computer so they run on my new computer. I've downloadad utorrent 1.7.5 and copied the old files into the same file that the torrents go into in the new computer but they aren't picked up by 1.7.5 and now i cant seed them anymore. Could someone tell me how to sort this problem out please. Ta V. much. crazyivan72

stop and rightclick the torrent, then select force re-check

Unless the directory structure is the same on the new folder/drive/computer force recheck will spin its wheels and infact report things back to 0% or Error out.

What you want to do is make sure you know where your files are, then stop right click, advanced --> Change download location.

Browse to the directory containing the files.

NOTE: the above only works for single file torrents.

Multiple file torrents (in a directory) MUST have the directory selected. As in, if you have "Fedora Core 6" dir with Disk1. iso Disk2.iso Disk3.iso, you will be presented with the folder tree. You must click on "Fedora Core 6" dir and press OK. You cannot click on "directory above fedora" where you see \Fedora Core 6 as a sub-dir.
