rafi
Since there was a question if people do have M$'s Layer for Unicode support on their Win 98/ME system - here is a quick survey : Please search your C: drive for a file name unicows.dll (usually under c:\windows\system ), and reply in this thread if you have it or not ? BTW - This DLL is available for free install by M$ here
ludde
What is the point in using that DLL? As I wrote, it doesn't give unicode to win98 apps.
rafi
I'm no expert on this, but here is a short explanation on the point of using it, that I read a few months back:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Layer_for_Unicode

Firon
basically, it's a unicode -> ANSI wrapper.ludde decided to forgo the 160kb dll and just do it himself (it only increased the size <1kb), making it easier since no one has to install a DLL.
