System Manufacturer: INTEL

System Model : D945GNT

Processor : Intel® Pentium® D CPU 2.80GHz (2 CPUs)

System Information

Version: 1.8 Beta Build 6838.

If choosing "Remove and delete torrent + Data", utorrent will remove the files only to recycle bin and leave the empty directory. Assume that the torrent contains files "a", "b", "c",... in a folder "d" and download to the default folder in drive "f:\downloads\" like this

F:\downloads

|

[d]--+

| |

| a

| b

| c

| ...

[folder...]

Folder [d] still remain after "Remove and delete torrent + data

I think this is not a bug but it make download folders untidy.

Version 1.7.5 haven't this bug. :-)

Report for Version 1.8 Beta build 7364: Remove and delete + data is now delete data only, leave torrent ... alone :D

No, I just open torrent and start download but the source is dead so that I choose delete torrent + data, just a few moments, and didn't create any other files in that folder.

That's not entirely true. 1.7.5 leaves empty folders, just not in the instance you describe. There are times I have to manually remove folders in my "incomplete" directory because the files inside were moved to the "completed" directory.

I know about moving complete data into new destinations when downloads are completed, by selecting Options >> Preferences >> Downloads >> + Put new downloads ... + Move completed downloads ... But, as I said above. I didn't do that because the source was dead. So many times I remove and delete torrent + data in utorrent. I didn't encounter this "bug". May be I just check this problem and report it later. :-) Thank you!
