diogoblink Posted December 12, 2007 Report Posted December 12, 2007 Hi, i'm new at this forum and i'm brazilian too, so before anything sorry for the lack of experience and english. First of all, let me be clear about my machine, I've got a pentium 4 3.2 HT on a P4C800 E-Deluxe, 512 RAM, HD 80 GB, OS Windows XP Professional SP2, recently formated with Kaspersky 7.0.0.25 Internet Security installed. I've made all the changes you sugested in te forum about the firewall issues, the port forwarding is OK on port 32459, my internet speed is 886kbps Down / 412kbps according to the test i made now. The limit of upload is set to 14 kb/s and the download limit is 0 [ no limit ]. I had this settings a while before and could use uTorrent normally, but some days ago this issue came throught and now it's impossible to open uTorrent, and have a decent internet connection. The problem is solved by closing uTorren, and yes, i've done all the alternatives given by you in the common proceedures topic. By the way my modem is a router D-link 500g Generation II with B18 Firmware. The UDP Timeout is set to 30 sec in it, ISP not in use, net.max_halfopen set to 4, the port is properly forwarded according to the uTorrent tests, and finally every program that requests UDP and TCP connections in my PC are finely working, just like eMULE. I don't know what to do anymore please, i need some help.
jewelisheaven Posted December 12, 2007 Report Posted December 12, 2007 14 is a bit low for fair uploading, but that isn't relevant to your question.have you tried http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/ torrents to see what happens?
diogoblink Posted December 12, 2007 Author Report Posted December 12, 2007 Now I have. And the problem remains the same, actually i forgot to tell that not only the internet connection becomes poor but even the utorrent download speed, that once was around 80 or 90 k/s now is about 0.1 till 10 k/s.
