Firon
v4.20.9 - HyperWRT 2.1b1+tofu11Firmware replacement for the HyperWRT54G. Should fix these problems (it's a problem with the default firmware)If you still have weird problems after upgrading, Run Command -> erase nvram;rebootThat will clear the nvram, and will fix any weird problems, but you'll have to reconfigure the router. Firon
Did you reboot your router after upgrading? There's a button on the Administration page in the web interface for that. You have to put that command in the router's web interface...go to 192.168.1.1, login, click on Administration, and click on Run Command.then type erase nvram;rebootpress enter.Re-configure the router as required. don't forget to forward your ports. Firon
http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Linksys/WRT54G/default.htmyou should also change the router's password on the Administration page and setup a static IP for your PC. Setup -> Static DHCPClick on Device List. It'll open a new window.Click on the IP address that matches your computer's/computer name's, then close that new window and click on Add, then Save Settings. Farmand
Hello Firon !I have done all of the changes on both my pc and the router, no change ! What is wrong with this picture ??Farmand
Firon
Don't use UPnP. Forward your port manually...And when you set up static DHCP, do start -> run -> ipconfig /renewor just reboot your PC.
