Utorrent problems of timing out trackers and more

hello

I am having major probelms with utorrent 1.6.1 and 1.7.5 , i have the same error on both.

my trackers dont seem to connect they are continuelly trying to update but tell me they have timed out and wont download by not picking up any seeds or peers.i then tried downloading the same torrent using azureus and it downloads but quite frankly i hate azureus. can anyone help?????

The problem is the limit of half-opened connections, you may read about it in wikipedia.

1) Download patch:

   for XP -> http://www.lvllord.de/?lang=en&url=tools

   for Vista -> http://www.mydigitallife.info/2007/04/09/windows-vista-tcpipsys-connection-limit-patch-for-event-id-4226/ru/

2) Run exe-file and enter in options «С=Change limit» to choose number of halfopen connections.Then set the number to 100 and press «Y=Yes».

3) Reboot

4) Run uTorrent.exe, main menu Options -> Preferences -> Advanced -> net.max_halfopen -> change to 25
