Egads it still doesn't come up.

Can you try launching uT from a new shortcut if you normally click on the EXE file. You'll want to go to File-> New-> Shortcut and browse to the utorrent.exe, rename the shortcut to your liking, then double click.

Since uT is getting the commands and it is running in the background, it is surely something taking ahold of a thread. In Windows Task Manager under the Processes tab, is uTorrent.exe taking up 100% of the CPU. Or alternatively what process is taking up a majority of the CPU.

I am wary to suggest Process Explorer to poke inside the inner workings of uT, but I think we have no other choice. Here is the site that you download it from. You'll need to unzip it, then open procexp.exe After that you may have to go to view, and enable show lower pane.

The lower pane has two modes of operation DLL (Ctrl-D) and Handle (Ctrl-H). The former helps to see what processes/services are hooked into uT, which could be causing the problem. The latter provides in-depth viewing of EVERYTHING uT is connecting to. (Note with alot of connections you will see a significant CPU usage spike from procexp when Handles are displayed)

Under Handle mode, you can right click on the column header and show "Share Flags" descending (downward arrow) to see what files uT is opening for you. Usually this will include files seeding, and downloading, and a logfile.

Pressing Ctrl-A while in the lower pane will allow you to save the list as a text file. You will have to open it up to paste the contents into another post.

For DLL mode, you should know exactly what the DLL does if it doesn't have Microsoft Corporation in the Company Name column and/or is not under your \System32 directory.
