karl_87
Hi,First of I tried searching if anyone had the same problem but I could'nt find anything so I do apologize if this has been asked before.I've just set up a network 500gb hard drive and have it connected to my linksys WRT54GS wireless router.I have mapped the network drive to a drive on my pc so that I can access it more easily from within XP and so that I can download straight to it.The problem is every now and again utorrent says it can't find the location of my torrent data and the torrents stop downloading, but once I click start again they usually carry on. Sometimes I have to pull the pul on my router and plug it back in to get the internet fully working again. Is there a problem or a way to make it automatically resume?Any help would be greatly appreciated.ThanksKarl
Lord Alderaan
Missing files is a fatal torrent error which stops the torrent. So there is no auto-resume, it won't check again a few minutes later (unlike with tracker errors which µtorrent keeps trying).Your network is probably a bit unstable. Are you using a wireless network?Having to restart the router from time to time is a clear sign that its not keeping up. Try the steps suggested in the speed problems forum (see help in my signature).
