Clinch Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 What isn't counted in the download/upload statistics, assuming DHT is off completely. Are bad pieces counted, tcp overhead, etc not counted?
jewelisheaven Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 Torrent datacount include Bytes sent and received. It's mentioned in the thread(s) about the "&corrupt= announce parameter.Unless you're talking about on the General (Transfer) tab. That only shows peer traffic. For total traffic you want the Alt-H-S information or the totals in the taskbar.
Clinch Posted December 18, 2007 Author Report Posted December 18, 2007 im referring to stats in the help menu."Show Statistics"
jewelisheaven Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 That is everything. All tracker, dht, peer information sent and received (stored in bytes, but displayed with magnitude). They are under the TU and TD keys of settings.dat
Clinch Posted December 19, 2007 Author Report Posted December 19, 2007 Oh ok thanks.Do they use the proper 1024 per when doing the math?
jewelisheaven Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 check for yourself... like i said it's stored in those keys. when displaying it they only show the most significant magnitude (once you go GB there is no MB shown)
Ultima Posted December 20, 2007 Report Posted December 20, 2007 Yah, µTorrent does divide by 1024 when converting units.
Clinch Posted December 20, 2007 Author Report Posted December 20, 2007 oh ok. now i gotta find out how my server is leaking 300gb of bandwidth.
jewelisheaven Posted December 20, 2007 Report Posted December 20, 2007 WTF?Indeed, lol that's alot. You know the current total transfer per session is stored in the taskbar right? It's possible it's not from uT though :/Edit: How do you know it's "leaking" the bandwidth somewhere? Unless you reset the counter each run of ut (clear TD and TU keys in settings.dat) the number reported by the taskbar is the total uT has used and comprises all data in and out.
