bitdefender v10 firewall

hi guys,i noticed there were a number of discusions on this topic,i barely know my way round my computer and need help. internet explorer seems to have adopted bitdefender firewall,i had it on my computer a while back and deleted bitdefender as it was more trouble than anything that might on the off chance hurt my pc,anyways i need to get rid of bitdefender somehow,maybe someone knows of a command or something that i can kill it with,my connection has been slowed and sending or dowloading files generally always get terminated by the firewall. help!!! please!!

There should be help files with your software. Generally, Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs should be able to uninstall most programs.

Also if you have icons in the system tray you can open up the window there and see if there are options to uninstall it there. To uninstall you generally have to close the program first.
