"No Incoming Connections"

I have the yellow icon at the bottom again. It pops up every now and then. Last time it happened I was downloading FFIX ISO and it just suddenly started working. Now I'm trying to download some music but its giving me this dang crap again and I've already went through the entire port forwarding thing and it did nothing... Any idea wtf is up?

If you get a green icon when using http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/, it just means that they don't want to be incoming to you.

If neither shows incoming connections, you have a software/hardware firewall problem.

With hardware firewalls you will most likely need to enable UPnP (if available) or set a static IP address to forward the correct ports.

With software firewalls you should be able to add in exception rules to uTorrent.exe for your specific port.

As above, if the OOo torrent does not give you a green icon, you have a firewall problem. This means you need to check both hardware and software firewalls which may be causing the problem. For hardware firewalls, if you are behind a router (ISP -> modem -> router -> computers) then you need to login and setup port forwarding (http://www.portforward.com has an abundant list) if your router does not support UPnP. If you are directly connected, make sure uTorrent has an exception for the port you are using (Ctrl-G). This is not necessary with Windows Firewall on Xp SP2+ as Ctrl-P -> Connection -> add uT to exceptions... will do it for you.
