[DsR]Blade Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 My connection is around 3Mbit/700kbit download/upload. I followed the guide and all, but I can't get my download/upload speed over 35kB/80kB/s. Do you guys know how can I make it faster? I'm not saying I understood everything from the guides, but I understood the most.Btw, how many kbits are in a kB?
jewelisheaven Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 8 bits per Byte. That's why you'll notice under Ctrl-G (Speed Guide) if you have XX/512 kbit connection, you can only get MAXIMUM theoretical 64 KiBps, but uT will set it to 47.Does http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/ show any marked difference in download speed? Also that will verify whether you have any firewalling problems (No Green Icon or "I" flag under Peers tab)
