Lys Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 I have utorrent 1.7.5 with the beta 2 in its proper %appdata% location, and it used to work. One day however, it just stopped working. The server hosting the webui is 192.168.0.1:48488/gui/ . There is no access control, and the webui.zip is the same as before. I tried changing it to "use alternate port" 8080, but that doesn't work either. Says that connection was refused. This is from a computer in my local network. What is happening?I tried again and now it is working! I don't know what happened, so mods can delete this post
Senator2 Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 Help, please.I have uTorrent 1.7.5 and place webui.zip to the %appdata% location.uTorrent work on port 46545, and this port is "open".When I try connect to WebUI from computer where uTorrent is running on address 127.0.0.1:46545/gui/ - WebUI is working perfectly, but when I connect via internet (my DynDns host) - WebUI is not working (Page is not founded). Why this happened ? What I'm doe's wrong?Thank you.
schnurlos Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 @Senator2:Some routers have problems to reach the external adress from inside the LAN. Ask a friend to try the adress to see if it works.
Senator2 Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 I ask yesterday my friend's, and they entering to address throught DynDns host, same address as try I am.They are connect to my WebUI and working normally. But I'm, from my work, can't connect.I think, that for normally work, WebUI need some port (not only 80).Internet on my working computer is working (this mean that port 80 is open), but I know that almost all port are closed...Why I'm can't connect to my WebUI ???
jewelisheaven Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 If you are connecting from work the port settings at your end shouldn't be a problem. Under your WebUI settings did you change any of the "Connectivity" settings, maybe changing YOUR listening port that you didn't try from work. Or alternatively did you have to add your friend's IP into your allow list? Are you sure the DNS resolves to your correct IP from work? Those are my only thoughts :/
Senator2 Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 Thank you for answer, and sorry for my English. Yes, DNS is resolved correct IP.But I think that I'm know what is wrong.Yesterday I try execute a 'tracert' command to my IP and they are don't complete, beginning from 3-d point.I think that all problems in this. But what I can made in this situation ? How I can change a route to my IP ?
