Switeck
Speed Guide (CTRL+G) in uTorrent needs to be set based on your max upload bandwidth in kilobits/sec or megabits/sec.Do note your upload speed max is probably a TINY fraction of your download speed max! benignoh
My upload speed is between 360-400kb/s and now is set correctly to 384k in the SpeedGuide! What else can I do to help raise my downloads to a decent speed?ThanksBenny
jewelisheaven
Testing and verifying you can get near max-throughput on http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/ is a first step to ensure your Ctrl-G settings are sufficient. In general people configure their p2p / torrent clients to hold a) too many active torrents too many upload slots c) too many peer connections. All of these degrade performance.
