Ive read the FAQ about this error and cant seem to resolve it. What is odd is that when i use the same pc at university i get no error as soon as i move back home i get the disconnects. My feeling is that it is a router issue (draytech v6000 series) and it may be the router firewall, ive opened the necessary ports as per the portword.com website.

Before i go messing with any of my router settings just wanted to check if anyone had any knowledge they can share with me about any other potential causes.

Thanks

O23 - Service: NBService - Nero AG - C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Nero BackItUp\NBService.exe

This could be causing problems.

Also, can you try excluding your download folder and the uTorrent settings folder in Sophos?

Posted

yes i have, what bugs me is that i only get this error when im downloading at home, when im at university with a different router, ISP its fine. Tough ill give it a bash and play with nero, and check my exclusions on Sophos.

Nero Scout is an obnoxious indexer and enabled by default with all Nero installs. But the BackItUp service should cause no problems.

Make sure itunes is not indexing your download folders. It may screw up torrents with media files.
