malmern Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 Ok, I'm having this issue with the scheduler, it won't work!I've set it to 15 kB/s from 07.00-23.00, but I'm still uploading at rates of 60-65 kB/s!Here are some screenies:What I can't figure out, is what the L: next to U: is!None of my torrents are set to [F]orced!Best RegardsMarius "Malmern" MalmstromTip: zoom in to about 130-150% to see the text on the last screenie properly (At 1280x1024 res)
jewelisheaven Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 L stands for "Local Peer". You want to enable Ctrl-P -> BitTorrent "Limit Local Peer Bandwidth".MAN! I envy you guys who actually find local peers in your swarms.
malmern Posted December 23, 2007 Author Report Posted December 23, 2007 Thanks for the fast reply! So local peer probably means someone with the same ISP as me? Or atleast someone in my situation (I have only one IP adress)I don't have a router, only a modem, and the IP adress is "delivered" to me in the sentral!
Switeck Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 Supposedly, local peers are "nearby" on the internet...typically at least on the same ISP as you, sometimes even closer.
