utorrent displaying my computer name

i doubt this is directly linked to utorrent, but it is quite strange.

me and a friend were just downloading the same torrent. the strange part is that under peers he could see my computer name instead of an ip. we are in lan at school so he recognized it and even tried to access my computer with run-> \\dev just like in lan. it actually worked. as soon as i shared a file it stoped working, but my computer name is still beeing displayed in his utorrent. here's a screen of how it is displayed in his utorrent: http://img140.imageshack.us/my.php?image=95048856wg5.png

any ideas what could be causing this?
