phoenixankit Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 I'm getting very low speed (0-1 kbps) My avg download speed is around 10 kbps (i know, very low)(hey it rhymes!!)Everything seems fine, but I got my normal speeds for the first few mins, then it fell...My CTRL-G setting are fine, and in the log, "Mapped port 26543 -> 192.168.1.50:26543"Then this around 10-11 times " Port 26543 is already mapped. Not Remapping"[right click > view image for larger view]
Ultima Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 http://www.slackware.com/torrents/How does a torrent from here run? I'm inclined to believe that it's problem with the torrent swarms themselves being near dead.
Switeck Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 Have you tried manually port forwarding and disabling UPnP, which is causing the "Port 26543 is already mapped. Not Remapping" in the log...and possibly causing the crippled speeds you're seeing a few minutes after start.
Finlander Posted December 26, 2007 Report Posted December 26, 2007 whoa... slackware torrent downloads with 586 kB/s but all other torrents are max 20 kB/s....
Switeck Posted December 26, 2007 Report Posted December 26, 2007 That means there's room for LOTS of improvement....or your ISP is disrupting most BitTorrent traffic/ips, but missed a business line ip in the Slackware torrent.
