djbon2112 Posted December 25, 2007 Report Share Posted December 25, 2007 I google'd, searched here, read the FAQ, and I can't find anything on this error!I start a couple torrents, and they go to "Checking x.y%", then at a random time during this they stop again with an error saying "Error: Not Ready". I've got no idea what this means. I'm using uTorrent in Ubuntu under Wine (0.9.51), uTorrent version 1.7.5. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jewelisheaven Posted December 25, 2007 Report Share Posted December 25, 2007 Erm, there's a problem with the communication to the saved folder. Are you downloading / checking data which is on a networked / external / USB drive? If you saving to a network you can't really do anything because the communication is handled by the OS. If however you are using external storage, try connecting directly to the ports on your computer, instead of going through a hub. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
