Locking files

Hi,

what about locking files while downloading?

When some indexing service checks file, uTorrent displays: error opening "<path to file>" and one must manually resart the process of downloading.

Locking files during downloading would be therefore useful feature, I mean.

P.S. I used BitSpirit for moths before I swithced to uTorrent and this has never happened during that period.

If the program doesn't know how to open files in READ-ONLY (-R- mode) it's broken. You can verify the indexer is the problem by going into the Preferences pane, and going to the option under Downloads and ticking "append !ut to incomplete files". Since the indexer will generally not know about the .!ut extension it won't scan them.
