lime wire over ride

this to mant might be a dumd quesion. my kids have downloaded lime wire and now it will not allow the tottents to go to u torrent.

they all go to lime wire to download.

could someone help a newbie or fixing this.

when you download the torrent of a site it will ask you were to open and from there you can chose utorrent. Or just set utorrent as your default client

Tell limewire to not take over associations (handled in its preferences, I don't know where)

Then tell uTorrent to take over associations

Just in case you can't figure it out, in uTorrent - Preferences (Ctrl + P) / General / 'Associate with .torrent files' button...
