sibleyt Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 Hi everyone,I've followed the port forwarding instructions to the letter (i think!) and I'm still getting the error saying the port is closed.I'm not sure if this might affect it but I access the net from my laptop wirelessly to a router/modem downstairs. I set everything up via the instructions but it still doesn't work.Any help would be wicked! Let me know any info you need. Thanks!
Hairy Lemon Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 It will most likely be a firewall you have stopping the access.Try shutting down ur firewalls>Open utorrent>Options>Speed Guide>Test if port is forwarded properly. Also make sure the port is the correct one u have listed and it may take a few mins for it to recognize the change.
sibleyt Posted January 6, 2008 Author Report Posted January 6, 2008 Hi, just tried port-forward test with my firewall off, still no joy.:-(
