coolgpi Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 I have followed the port forwarding instructions exactly but I still get the yellow triangle at the bottom of the utorrent window and when I check the port using the speed guide, I get:Welcome to the µTorrent Port Checker.A test will be performed on your computer to check if the specified port is opened.Checking port 39295 on 71.251.118.84...Error! Port 39295 does not appear to be open. Please see www.portforward.com for more information about how to map a port. Please make absolutely sure that PeerGuardian2 or Protowall is allowing utorrent.com (72.20.34.145) in either of those programs. Those of you using ipfilter.dat should make sure the list does not include the website's IP. After making sure of this, re-run this test by refreshing the page (F5). Please help, as I'm right now at 90kb/s down and I have FiOS that gives me up to 10Mb/s down.
Hairy Lemon Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 Possibly a firewall? Have u tried shutting them down or giving utorrent access?
coolgpi Posted December 30, 2007 Author Report Posted December 30, 2007 Yea, I tried disabling my McAfee firewall and just use Windows firewall while making sure to have selected on utorrent to allow it to run on the windows firewall. Nothing worked. I have the static ip address running, forwarded the port on my MI424WR router, and still get the yellow triangle. Please help.
