really poor speed downloads :(

hi everyone, am getting really poor downloads of 16kb/s max.

I'm using 1.7.5 and did a speed test and resukted in :

download speed: 1209kb/s

upload speed: 106kb/s

what can you recommeni do to adjust the speed setting

Read the speed guide .

If it doesn't work the problem is with the torrent.

xx/96k or maybe xx/128k setting in Speed Guide is what you should probably be using.

...Even then, they probably allow too many connections at once.

For such low-end broadband speeds, you probably could get by on 20 connections...and definitely don't need more than 50.
