After i turn on utorrent, web browser becomes very slow. why?

Hi

The problem is that every time i open utorrent program, the web browser programs eg. ie7 or firefox will become very slow to load any web page. Eventhough i close utorrent, the web browser speed is still slow.

What are the causes of this problem? Does the settings of router cause this? and Is there a way to solve this problem?
